There’s a bit of a trend in my Instagram feed just now, and it feels very, 2014. Countless ads for apps that make the photos taken on your phone look like they were done on a 35mm film camera.
Which is kinda ironic, given when Instagram started, it was all about filters that did that and covered up your somewhat limited phone camera. Yet now, entire movies can be shot on the latest iPhone, and shown on the cinema screen.
